Behind the Scenes
I feel motivated this morning to share some of the work I am doing to prepare more people to stand in Nature Law. The power of the people to contract with government or other entities is not limited to ‘electing’ them with questionable success, nor is it limited to petitioning, pestering, or protesting, or even hauling them into non-functionally responsive courts.
In 2012 I was motivated to create a PUBLIC NOTICE to affect a change in the establishment towards agricultural hemp. I wrote the first draft and passed it through 5 or 6 locals who helped tweak the language and tighten it up. Next, another local person paid for it to be published in a Statewide newspaper on Earth Day with a half page ad. That newspaper did not require that I identify myself, or an organization, although it did state it was a paid advertisement. That was an awesome break.
In this PUBLIC NOTICE, you can see that it calls out the unlawful behavior of the Government with respect to agricultural hemp, stating that we cannot offer 1st nation trading status to Canada and import hemp items to them that we ourselves in America do not enjoy. It further requires of the government to state in an equally public fashion its objections if we go ahead and grow hemp, and within a timeframe to do so, or hold us in Vermont completely harmless for our activities to grow hemp.
This is an adhesion contract. Because it is made in a fully open manner, it does a few things, it demonstrates to the people their power, and in times like these, the main media, the courts and the government announces in their every move, the complete surrender of the people to their idiocy, and most have little light to follow. Now, I am working on a few more difficult situations, the farming seizure, that’s going on in the UK (and here), and the aftermath of the LA fires. I have a draft for the former, but it needs a bit of cleaning and tightening. If there is anyone who would like to work on it, and help improve it, please reply, I am looking for the right people.
It’s important to publish it in a large fashion. because publishing it in a small ad, anything smaller than a 1/2 page means the effort is impoverished. That denotes a weakness that undermines it. I should say that the Hemp Public Notice was obviously effective. The newspaper said they had never before had such a large response to anything they had published, including immediate attention from our senators and congressman. Sen Leahy’s office, the head of the judiciary committee at the time was certainly impressed if not pleased.
After this was published it was as if a quagmire had been pushed through, as if Roto Router of the People, by the People had come in and unplugged a stagnant and stupid blockage. Our own legislature in VT responded the very next session early on and passed hemp (ag hemp less than .03 thc) before the Feds did, to treat it just like corn and wheat. AS will all corporate governments, as soon as hemp was adopted in VT in its CBD capacity, and the government saw its profitability, they changed course pretty quickly, after all, they are suckers and predators on the wealth of the people, by definition of their corporate charter. Since corporate personhood, we no longer have a republic as we think we do. We have a corporation whose product is control of the people, rather than upholding the people’s rights. Leave that for another post.
In 2014, the Federal Agency of Agriculture followed, and allowed for states to decide to allow ag hemp to be grown. And the dam was down.
I pledge allegiance to the Earth,
Upon whom all Life depends.
And to the Beings with whom we share her,
Our Earth, of the Universe,
Beauteous beyond comparison.
Next post I will upload the methodology of Natural Law.
Let me know if you are someone who wants to help with a couple of new present day notices.
